The installation is based on uniqueness of the urban open space area, and on the uniqueness of the aural experience itself. The Singing Forest sculptures are designed as site-specific sound objects which offer different ambiences within one public space.
Each melody is uniqueness and unrepeatable just like the wind. The observer influences the course of the composition by his movement within the space - each sculptural object is tuned using consonant intervals and grouped in four musical zones with different but mutually related tonal centres.
