The result of the exploration are the connections between digital sound and its physical manifestation in space. Lewis Mumford invites us to a world that is not ruled by technology but is in balance with nature. His ideal vision can be described as an “organic city” where the culture is not overpowered by technological innovation but grows alongside it. The installation was created as a direct response to problems of the information age and the abundance of visual stimuli and calls out for meditative experience and presence.
